EU Championship 2020 will take place from June, 11th to July 11th in 11 cities of Europe. Seven tourney games will be held in St. Petersburg. In the course of the Cup Tour, which started in Rome, the cup will be presented not only in the northern capital, but also in Gorky Park, Moscow.
The 8kg silver diota was met at the Leningradsky Railway Station by protégés of the Spartak-To-Kids Foundation, which provides for traumatized children and those with locomotor disorders.
The cup was presented by World Champion and European Champion, member of the French national football team David Sergio Trezeguet. The opening was visited by Chief of Moscow Sports Department Aleksey Kondarantsev, Director General for EURO 2020 Organization Committee Aleksey Sorokin, bronze award winner of EURO 2008 Dmitriy Sychev, Director of Gorky Park Pavel Trekhleb.
All visitors can make a photo with the Cup and participate in football simulators. There is also a scheduled autograph session with Dmitriy Sychev. Besides, you can take a look at the precise reduced copy of the St. Petersburg Stadium, made of 12k elements. This stadium will hold some of the coming EURO 2020 games. The Cup exhibition will conclude at 11 p.m.
