The Gorky in Gorky Park art festival will take place Moscow for the first time on September 16-18. The three-day festival will comprise over 70 events: concerts, are performances, exhibitions, lectures, film screenings. The art director of the festival is Evgeny Mironov.
The Gorky in Gorky Park art festival investigates into the legacy of one of the most significant Russian writers, Maxim Gorky.
Maxim Gorky is a bright author and an amazing person who visited many countries, was a good chess player, loved flowers and shared his favorite species with Betty Glan, the first director of the park in 1930-1937.
The program of the festival includes over 70 events of various formats: concerts with the participation of Yuri Bashmet, Evgeny Mironov, Vladimir Spivakov, performances with the Golden Mask nominees, theatrical defiles and screenings of films based on Maxim Gorky’s works.
The organizer of the festival is Gorky Park. The event will be held with the support of the Department of Culture of the city of Moscow.
